'Alif-Lām-Mīm Alif L'm M'm[3.1] --
Al-Lahu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-Ĥayyu Al-Qayyūmu Allah! There is no god but Him; the Living, the Eternal.[3.2] ~
Nazzala `Alayka Al-Kitāba Bil-Ĥaqqi Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Wa 'Anzala At-Tawrāata Wa Al-'Injīla He has revealed to you this Book with the Truth, confirming the scripture which preceded it, as He revealed the Taurt (Torah) and Injeel (Gospel),[3.3]
Min Qablu Hudáan Lilnnāsi Wa 'Anzala Al-Furqāna 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bi'āyāti Al-Lahi Lahum `Adhābun Shadīdun Wa Allāhu `Azīzun Dhū Antiqāmin before this, as a guidance for mankind and also revealed this Al-Furqn (criterion for judgment between right and wrong). Surely those who reject Allahs revelations will be sternly punished; Allah is Mighty, capable of retribution.[3.4]
'Inna Al-Laha Lā Yakhfá `Alayhi Shay'un Al-'Arđi Wa Lā Fī As-Samā'i For sure nothing in the earth or in the heavens is hidden from Allah.[3.5]
Huwa Al-Ladhī Yuşawwirukum Al-'Arĥāmi Kayfa Yashā'u Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu It is He Who shapes your bodies in the wombs of your mothers as He pleases. There is no god but Him; the Mighty, the Wise.[3.6] ~
Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Anzala `Alayka Al-Kitāba Minhu 'Āyātun Muĥkamātun Hunna 'Ummu Al-Kitābi Wa 'Ukharu Mutashābihātun Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna Fī Qulūbihim Zayghun Fayattabi`ūna Mā Tashābaha Minhu Abtighā'a Al-Fitnati Wa Abtighā'a Ta'wīlihi Wa Mā Ya`lamu Ta'wīlahu 'Illā Al-Lahu Wa Ar-Rāsikhūna Fī Al-`Ilmi Yaqūlūna 'Āmannā Bihi Kullun Min `Indi Rabbinā Wa Mā Yadhdhakkaru 'Illā 'Ū Al-'Albābi He is the One Who has revealed to you the Book. Some of its verses are decisive - they are the foundation of the Book - while others are allegorical. Those whose hearts are infected with disbelief follow the allegorical part to mislead others and to give it their own interpretation, seeking for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. Those who are well grounded in knowledge say: We believe in it; it is all from our Rabb." None will take heed except the people of understanding.[3.7] ~
Rabbanā Lā Tuzigh Qulūbanā Ba`da 'Idh Hadaytanā Wa Hab Lanā Min Ladunka Raĥmatan 'Innaka 'Anta Al-Wahhābu They say: "Our Rabb, do not let our hearts deviate from the truth after you have guided us, and grant us Your own mercy; You are the Grantor of bounties without measure.[3.8]
Rabbanā 'Innaka Jāmi`u An-Nāsi Liyawmin Lā Rayba Fīhi 'Inna Al-Laha Lā Yukhlifu Al-Mī`āda Our Rabb, You will surely gather all mankind before You on the Day about which there is no doubt; surely Allah does not break His promise."[3.9] ~
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lan Tughniya `Anhum 'Amwāluhum Wa Lā 'Awlāduhum Mina Al-Lahi Shay'āan Wa 'Ūlā'ika Hum Wa Qūdu An-Nāri Surely neither their wealth nor their children will save the unbelievers from the wrath of Allah: they are the ones who will become the fuel for hellfire.[3.10]
Kada'bi 'Āli Fir`awna Wa Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Fa'akhadhahumu Al-Lahu Bidhunūbihim Wa Allāhu Shadīdu Al-`Iqābi Their end will be the same as that of the people of Firon (Pharaoh) and their predecessors who denied Our revelations, so Allah called them to account for their sins. Allah is strict in retribution.[3.11]
Qul Lilladhīna Kafarū Satughlabūna Wa Tuĥsharūna 'Ilá Jahannama Wa Bi'sa Al-Mihādu O Muhammad, say to the unbelievers: Soon you will be overpowered and driven together to Hell - which is a horrible refuge.[3.12]
Qad Kāna Lakum 'Āyatun Fī Fi'atayni At-Taqatā Fi'atun Tuqātilu Fī Sabīli Al-Lahi Wa 'Ukhrá Kāfiratun Yarawnahum Mithlayhim Ra'ya Al-`Ayni Wa Allāhu Yu'uayyidu Binaşrihi Man Yashā'u 'Inna Fī Dhālika La`ibratan Li'wlī Al-'Abşāri Indeed there was a sign (lesson) for you in the two armies which met on the battlefield (of Badr): one was fighting for the cause of Allah and the other had rejected Allah; the believers saw with their own eyes that the unbelievers were twice their number. But the result of the battle proved that Allah strengthens with His own aid whom He pleases. Surely there is a lesson in this for those who have sight.[3.13]
Zuyyina Lilnnāsi Ĥubbu Ash-Shahawāti Mina An-Nisā' Wa Al-Banīna Wa Al-Qanāţīri Al-Muqanţarati Mina Adh-Dhahabi Wa Al-Fiđđati Wa Al-Khayli Al-Musawwamati Wa Al-'An`āmi Wa Al-Ĥarthi Dhālika Matā`u Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Allāhu `Indahu Ĥusnu Al-Ma'ābi The life of men is tempted by love and desire for women, children, the hoarding of treasures of gold and silver, branded horses, wealth of cattle and plantations. These are the comforts for the transitory life of this world; the everlasting best comfort, however, is with Allah.[3.14]
Qul 'A'uunabbi'ukum Bikhayrin Min Dhālikum Lilladhīna Attaqaw `Inda Rabbihim Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Wa 'Azwājun Muţahharatun Wa Riđwānun Mina Al-Lahi Wa Allāhu Başīrun Bil-`Ibādi Say : Shall I tell you of better things than these, with which the righteous will be rewarded by their Rabb? There will be gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they will live forever with spouses of perfect chastity and the good pleasure of Allah. Allah is watching His servants very closely."[3.15]
Al-Ladhīna Yaqūlūna Rabbanā 'Innanā 'Āmannā Fāghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā Wa Qinā `Adhāba An-Nāri The righteous people are those who pray: Our Rabb! We sincerely believe in You: please forgive our sins and save us from the agony of the hellfire;[3.16]
Aş-Şābirīna Wa Aş-Şādiqīna Wa Al-Qānitīna Wa Al-Munfiqīna Wa Al-Mustaghfirīna Bil-'Asĥāri who are steadfast, sincere, obedient, and charitable, and who pray for forgiveness in the morning time.[3.17]
Shahida Al-Lahu 'Annahu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Wa Al-Malā'ikatu Wa 'Ū Al-`Ilmi Qā'imāan Bil-Qisţi Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu Allah Himself has testified to the fact that there is no god but Him and so do the angels and those who are well grounded in knowledge standing firm on justice. There is no Ilah (God) except Him, the Mighty, the Wise.[3.18] ~ ~
'Inna Ad-Dīna `Inda Al-Lahi Al-'Islāmu Wa Mā Akhtalafa Al-Ladhīna 'Ū Al-Kitāba 'Illā Min Ba`di Mā Jā'ahumu Al-`Ilmu Baghyāan Baynahum Wa Man Yakfur Bi'āyāti Al-Lahi Fa'inna Al-Laha Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi Surely the only Deen (true religion and the Right Way of life) in the sight of Allah is Al-Islam. Those to whom the Book was given did not adopt ways different than this except out of envy among themselves, and after true knowledge had come to them. They should know that Allah is swift in calling to account those who deny His revelations.[3.19]
Fa'in Ĥājjūka Faqul 'Aslamtu Wajhiya Lillahi Wa Mani Attaba`ani Wa Qul Lilladhīna 'Ū Al-Kitāba Wa Al-'Ummīyīna 'A'aslamtum Fa'in 'Aslamū Faqadi Ahtadaw Wa 'In Tawallaw Fa'innamā `Alayka Al-Balāghu Wa Allāhu Başīrun Bil-`Ibādi So if they argue with you (O Muhammad), tell them: I have submitted myself entirely to Allah and so have those who follow me." Then ask those who are given the Book and those who are illiterate: Will you also submit yourselves to Allah? If they become Muslims they shall be rightly guided but if they turn back, you need not worry, because your sole responsibility is to convey the Message. Allah is watching all His servants very closely.[3.20]
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yakfurūna Bi'āyāti Al-Lahi Wa Yaqtulūna An-Nabīyīna Bighayri Ĥaqqin Wa Yaqtulūna Al-Ladhīna Ya'murūna Bil-Qisţi Mina An-Nāsi Fabashshirhum Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin Give a warning to those who deny Allahs revelations, who slay the Prophets without any justification, and who kill those from among the people who enjoin justice, that there is a painful punishment for them.[3.21]
'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Ĥabiţat 'A`māluhum Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Mā Lahum Min Nāşirīna They are the ones whose deeds will become void in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.[3.22]

When they are invited to settle their disputes according to the Book of Allah, some of them turn back and decline.[3.23]
Dhālika Bi'annahum Qālū Lan Tamassanā An-Nāru 'Illā 'Ayyāmāan Ma`dūdātin Wa Gharrahum Fī Dīnihim Mā Kānū Yaftarūna This is because they say: The fire of Hell shall not touch us; even if it does, it will be for a few days." In their religion they are deceived by their own self-invented beliefs.[3.24]

Master of all the Kingship, You give the kingdom to whom You please and take away the kingdom from whomsoever You please; You give honor to whom You please and disgrace whom You please; all the good is in Your hand; surely You have power over everything.[3.26]

Anyhow, Allah warns you to fear Him: because with Allah is your final refuge.[3.28]
Qul 'In Tukhfū Mā Fī Şudūrikum 'Aw Tubdūhu Ya`lamhu Al-Lahu Wa Ya`lamu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun Say: Whether you conceal what is in your heart or reveal it, it is known to Allah.[3.29]

Allah has full power over everything. On the Day of Judgment, when every soul will be confronted with whatever good it has done - as for its evil deeds, it will wish they were a long way off. Allah cautions you to beware of Him. Allah is full of kindness towards His devotees.[3.30] ~
Qul 'In Kuntum Tuĥibbūna Al-Laha Fa Attabi`ūnī Yuĥbibkumu Al-Lahu Wa Yaghfir Lakum Dhunūbakum Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun Tell the people O Muhammad: If you sincerely love Allah, then follow me; Allah will also love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.[3.31]

'Inna Al-Laha Aşţafá 'Ādama Wa Nūĥāan Wa 'Āla 'Ibrāhīma Wa 'Āla `Imrān `Alá Al-`Ālamīna Indeed Allah exalted Adam, Nh (Noah), the family of Ibrhm (Abraham) and the family of Imrn above all the worlds.[3.33]

I have given birth to a girl, - Allah knew very well what she had delivered - "and that the male is not like the female, I have named her Maryam (Mary) and I seek Your protection for her and her children from the mischief of Shaitn, the accursed."[3.36]

I will heal the blind and the lepers, and raise the dead to life, by Allah's leave. Furthermore, I will tell you what you have eaten and what you have stored in your houses. Surely these are the signs to convince you if you are believers.[3.49]

'Inna Mathala `Īsá `Inda Al-Lahi Kamathali 'Ādama Khalaqahu Min Turābin Thumma Qāla Lahu Kun Fayakūnu In fact, the example of the birth of Isa ( Jesus) in the sight of Allah is like the example of Adam who had no father and mother, whom He created out of dust, then said to him: Be and he was.[3.59]

If they reject your invitation then tell them: Bear witness that we are Muslims (who have surrendered to Allah).[3.64]

Why do you argue with us about Ibrhm, as to whether he was a Jew or a Christian? You know that the Taurt (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) were revealed long after him? Have you no sense at all?[3.65] ~

They mean to say: If we had any say in the matter, none of us would have been killed here."
