| Sabbaĥa Lillahi Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu | َ057-001 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares the glory of Allâh. And He is the All-Mighty the All-Wise. | سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ |
| Lahu Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۖ Yuĥyī Wa Yumītu ۖ Wa Huwa `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun | َ057-002 The kingdom of the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. He gives life and causes death and He is the Possessor of power to do all that He will. | لَه ُُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ ۖ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء ٍ قَدِير ٌ |
| Huwa Al-'Awwalu Wa Al-'Ākhiru Wa Až-Žāhiru Wa Al-Bāţinu ۖ Wa Huwa Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun | َ057-003 He is (from) the very First (there was nothing before Him), and (He will exist to) the Last (there will be nothing after Him), and when nothing remains He will remain (He being an eternal Being). He is the Supreme Being (subordinate to no one). And (whereas He comprehends everything) He is Incomprehensible. He has full knowledge of every thing. | هُوَ الأَوَّلُ وَالآخِرُ وَالظَّاهِرُ وَالْبَاطِنُ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيم ٌ |
| Huwa Al-Ladhī Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Fī Sittati 'Ayyāmin Thumma Astawá `Alá Al-`Arshi ۚ Ya`lamu Mā Yaliju Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Yakhruju Minhā Wa Mā Yanzilu Mina As-Samā'i Wa Mā Ya`ruju Fīhā ۖ Wa Huwa Ma`akum 'Ayna Mā Kuntum Wa ۚ Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Başīrun | َ057-004 It is He Who created the heavens and the earth in six aeons. And He is established on the Throne (of Power). He knows what goes down into the earth and what comes out of it, and what descends from above and what ascends to it. He is with you wherever you may be. Allâh is watchful of all that you do. | هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّام ٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا ۖ وَهُوَ مَعَكُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِير ٌ |
| Lahu Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۚ Wa 'Ilá Al-Lahi Turja`u Al-'Umūru | َ057-005 The kingdom of the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. All matters are referred to Allâh (for His judgment). | لَه ُُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الأُمُورُ |
| Yūliju Al-Layla Fī An-Nahāri Wa Yūliju An-Nahāra Fī Al-Layli ۚ Wa Huwa `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri | َ057-006 He causes the night to gain on the day (in one season) and He causes the day to gain on the night (in the other season). He has full knowledge of the inmost secrets of hearts. | يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلِيم ٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ |
| 'Āminū Bil-Lahi Wa Rasūlihi Wa 'Anfiqū Mimmā Ja`alakum Mustakhlafīna Fīhi ۖ Fa-Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Minkum Wa 'Anfaqū Lahum 'Ajrun Kabīrun | َ057-007 (Mankind!) believe in Allâh and His Messenger and spend (in the cause of Allâh) out of the possessions He has entrusted you with as His vicegerent. Indeed, there awaits a great reward for such of you as believe and spend (in His cause). | آمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِه ِِ وَأَنْفِقُوا مِمَّا جَعَلَكُمْ مُسْتَخْلَفِينَ فِيه ِِ ۖ فَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَأَنْفَقُوا لَهُمْ أَجْر ٌ كَبِير ٌ |
| Wa Mā Lakum Lā Tu'uminūna Bil-Lahi Wa ۙ Ar-Rasūlu Yad`ūkum Litu'uminū Birabbikum Wa Qad 'Akhadha Mīthāqakum 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna | َ057-008 What is wrong with you that you do not believe in Allâh, though the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord, and though He has already bound you to a covenant. (Now is the time) if you care to believe. | وَمَا لَكُمْ لاَ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ ۙ وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِتُؤْمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ وَقَدْ أَخَذَ مِيثَاقَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ |
| Huwa Al-Ladhī Yunazzilu `Alá `Abdihi 'Āyātin Bayyinātin Liyukhrijakum Mina Až-Žulumāti 'Ilá An-Nūri ۚ Wa 'Inna Al-Laha Bikum Lara'ūfun Raĥīmun | َ057-009 It is He Who sends down clear signs to His servant that He may lead you from all kinds of darkness into the light (of faith). And behold, Allâh is Compassionate and Ever Merciful to you. | هُوَ الَّذِي يُنَزِّلُ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ آيَات ٍ بَيِّنَات ٍ لِيُخْرِجَكُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُمْ لَرَءُوف ٌ رَحِيم ٌ |
| Wa Mā Lakum 'Allā Tunfiqū Fī Sabīli Al-Lahi Wa Lillahi Mīrāthu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۚ Lā Yastawī Minkum Man 'Anfaqa Min Qabli Al-Fatĥi Wa Qātala ۚ 'Ūlā'ika 'A`žamu Darajatan Mina Al-Ladhīna 'Anfaqū Min Ba`du Wa Qātalū ۚ Wa Kullāan Wa`ada Al-Lahu Al-Ĥusná Wa ۚ Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Khabīrun | َ057-010 What is wrong with you that you do not spend in the way of Allâh, for all that the heavens and the earth contain shall finally revert to Allâh. Those of you who spent and fought (in the cause of Allâh) before the Victory (of Hudaibiyah) cannot be equal (to those who joined the ranks later). They are higher in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards (after the truth had gained ground). Yet Allâh has promised a good reward to them all. Allâh is Well-Aware of what you do. | وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلاَّ تُنْفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ ۚ لاَ يَسْتَوِي مِنْكُمْ مَنْ أَنْفَقَ مِنْ قَبْلِ الْفَتْحِ وَقَاتَلَ ۚ أُوْلَائِكَ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَة ً مِنَ الَّذِينَ أَنْفَقُوا مِنْ بَعْدُ وَقَاتَلُوا ۚ وَكُلاّ ً وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْحُسْنَى ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِير ٌ |
| Man Dhā Al-Ladhī Yuqriđu Al-Laha Qarđāan Ĥasanāan Fayuđā`ifahu Lahu Wa Lahu 'Ajrun Karīmun | َ057-011 Who is he that will separate a handsome portion (of his possessions) to give (in the cause of) Allâh? (Let him remember) He will increase it manifold (to repay it to him many times over). Indeed, there awaits such a one a generous and honourable reward. | مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَنا ً فَيُضَاعِفَه ُُ لَه ُُ وَلَهُ~ُ أَجْر ٌ كَرِيم ٌ |
| Yawma Tará Al-Mu'uminīna Wa Al-Mu'umināti Yas`á Nūruhum Bayna 'Aydīhim Wa Bi'aymānihim Bushrākumu Al-Yawma Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā ۚ Dhālika Huwa Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu | َ057-012 (Think of) the day when you will see the believing men and the believing women that their (faith having become a torch of) light is advancing rapidly in front of them and on their right sides. (It will be said to them,) `Glad tidings to you this day. (There await you) Gardens (of Paradise) served with running streams.´ (The recipients of glad tidings) will abide therein (for ever). This indeed is a mighty achievement! | يَوْمَ تَرَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَسْعَى نُورُهُمْ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَانِهِمْ بُشْرَاكُمُ الْيَوْمَ جَنَّات ٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ |
| Yawma Yaqūlu Al-Munāfiqūna Wa Al-Munāfiqātu Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Anžurūnā Naqtabis Min Nūrikum Qīla Arji`ū Warā'akum Fāltamisū Nūrāan Fađuriba Baynahum Bisūrin Lahu Bābun Bāţinuhu Fīhi Ar-Raĥmatu Wa Žāhiruhu Min Qibalihi Al-`Adhābu | َ057-013 That day the hypocritical men and hypocritical women will say to those who believe, `Wait for us so that we might obtain some illumination from your (this) light.´ It will be said to them, `Go back (if you can) and seek for light.´ Then a wall with a gateway will be set up separating them (and the believers). The inside of it will be all mercy (where the righteous have to go) and the outside of it shall be facing torment (where the hypocrites have to stay). | يَوْمَ يَقُولُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتُ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا انْظُرُونَا نَقْتَبِسْ مِنْ نُورِكُمْ قِيلَ ارْجِعُوا وَرَاءَكُمْ فَالْتَمِسُوا نُورا ً فَضُرِبَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِسُور ٍ لَه ُُ بَاب ٌ بَاطِنُه ُُ فِيهِ الرَّحْمَةُ وَظَاهِرُه ُُ مِنْ قِبَلِهِ الْعَذَابُ |
| Yunādūnahum 'Alam Nakun Ma`akum ۖ Qālū Balá Wa Lakinnakum Fatantum 'Anfusakum Wa Tarabbaştum Wa Artabtum Wa Gharratkumu Al-'Amānīyu Ĥattá Jā'a 'Amru Al-Lahi Wa Gharrakum Bil-Lahi Al-Gharūru | َ057-014 These (hypocrites) will call out to these (believers), `Were we not with you (in the worldly life)?´ They will reply, `Yes, but you let yourselves fall into temptations and you waited (uselessly for our destruction), and you doubted (about the truth). Infact, your vain desires deceived you till the decree of Allâh (about your punishment) came to be implemented. And the arch-deceiver deceived you in respect of Allâh. | يُنَادُونَهُمْ أَلَمْ نَكُنْ مَعَكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا بَلَى وَلَكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنْتُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَارْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الأَمَانِيُّ حَتَّى جَاءَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَغَرَّكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ |
| Fālyawma Lā Yu'ukhadhu Minkum Fidyatun Wa Lā Mina Al-Ladhīna Kafarū ۚ Ma'wākumu An-Nāru ۖ Hiya Mawlākum ۖ Wa Bi'sa Al-Maşīru | َ057-015 `So this day, no ransom shall be accepted from you, nor from those who disbelieved. Hell-Fire is the final abode of you all. That is your friendly-protector. And very evil is that resort.´ | فَالْيَوْمَ لاَ يُؤْخَذُ مِنْكُمْ فِدْيَة ٌ وَلاَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۚ مَأْوَاكُمُ النَّارُ ۖ هِيَ مَوْلاَكُمْ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ |
| 'Alam Ya'ni Lilladhīna 'Āmanū 'An Takhsha`a Qulūbuhum Lidhikri Al-Lahi Wa Mā Nazala Mina Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Lā Yakūnū Kālladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba Min Qablu Faţāla `Alayhimu Al-'Amadu Faqasat Qulūbuhum ۖ Wa Kathīrun Minhum Fāsiqūna | َ057-016 Is it not yet time for those who believe that their hearts should feel humbled at the mention (of the name) of Allâh and at the truth that has been revealed to them (in the form of the Qur´ân), and that they do not become like those who were given the Scripture before (them). But their hearts hardened because a long period of time passed over them (enjoying the favours of Allâh. (As for their present state) they are mostly transgressors. | أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلاَ يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِير ٌ مِنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ |
| A`lamū 'Anna Al-Laha Yuĥyī Al-'Arđa Ba`da Mawtihā ۚ Qad Bayyannā Lakumu Al-'Āyāti La`allakum Ta`qilūna | َ057-017 Know that Allâh brings (the inhabitants of) the earth to life after their death. We have indeed explained Our Messages to you that you may abstain (from evil deeds). | اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُحْيِي الأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ |
| 'Inna Al-Muşşaddiqīna Wa Al-Muşşaddiqāti Wa 'Aqrađū Al-Laha Qarđāan Ĥasanāan Yuđā`afu Lahum Wa Lahum 'Ajrun Karīmun | َ057-018 Verily, (as to) the men who give alms and the women who give alms and those who perform excellent deeds for the sake of Allâh, their recompense shall be increased manifold for them and (there awaits them) a generous and honourable reward. | إِنَّ الْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَالْمُصَّدِّقَاتِ وَأَقْرَضُوا اللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَنا ً يُضَاعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْر ٌ كَرِيم ٌ |
| Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Bil-Lahi Wa Rusulihi 'Ūlā'ika Humu ۖ Aş-Şiddīqūna Wa Ash-Shuhadā'u `Inda Rabbihim Lahum 'Ajruhum ۖ Wa Nūruhum Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu Al-Jaĥīmi | َ057-019 And for those who believe in Allâh and His Messengers they alone are the truthful people and faithful witnesses in the sight of their Lord, they will have their full reward and their light. But those who disbelieve and cry lies to Our commandments are the very inmates of Hell. | وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ~ِ أُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الصِّدِّيقُونَ ۖ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ وَنُورُهُمْ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَائِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ |
| A`lamū 'Annamā Al-Ĥayāatu Ad-Dunyā La`ibun Wa Lahwun Wa Zīnatun Wa Tafākhurun Baynakum Wa Takāthurun Fī Al-'Amwli Wa Al-'Awlādi ۖ Kamathali Ghaythin 'A`jaba Al-Kuffāra Nabātuhu Thumma Yahīju Fatarāhu Muşfarrāan Thumma Yakūnu Ĥuţāmāan ۖ Wa Fī Al-'Ākhirati `Adhābun Shadīdun Wa Maghfiratun Mina Al-Lahi Wa Riđwānun ۚ Wa Mā Al-Ĥayāatu Ad-Dunyā 'Illā Matā`u Al-Ghurūri | َ057-020 Know that the life of this world is but a sport, wanton, an empty show, (a source of) boasting among yourselves and an emulous quest for more riches and children. It is like the rain, the vegetation produced whereby pleases the cultivators. Then it (- the vegetation) blooms and flourishes so that you can see it turn yellow (on ripening). Then (there comes a time when) it becomes (worthless) chaff. But the Hereafter promises both, a severe punishment (for the wicked) and (for the righteous there is) protection from Allâh and (His) pleasure. The life of this world is nothing but a (temporary) enjoyment of delusive things. | اعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا لَعِب ٌ وَلَهْو ٌ وَزِينَة ٌ وَتَفَاخُر ٌ بَيْنَكُمْ وَتَكَاثُر ٌ فِي الأَمْوالِ وَالأَوْلاَدِ ۖ كَمَثَلِ غَيْثٍ أَعْجَبَ الْكُفَّارَ نَبَاتُه ُُ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَاه ُُ مُصْفَرّا ً ثُمَّ يَكُونُ حُطَاما ً ۖ وَفِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَاب ٌ شَدِيد ٌ وَمَغْفِرَة ٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَان ٌ ۚ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ |
| Sābiqū 'Ilá Maghfiratin Min Rabbikum Wa Jannatin `Arđuhā Ka`arđi As-Samā'i Wa Al-'Arđi 'U`iddat Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Bil-Lahi Wa Rusulihi ۚ Dhālika Fađlu Al-Lahi Yu'utīhi Man Yashā'u Wa ۚ Allāhu Dhū Al-Fađli Al-`Ažīmi | َ057-021 (Mankind!) advance quickly, outstripping one another, towards the protection from your Lord and (towards) a Garden the extensiveness of which is (beyond measure) as the extensiveness of the heaven and the earth. It has been prepared for those who believe in Allâh and His Messengers; that (protection) is Allâh´s grace and bounty. He grants it to such of those who wish to attain it (and strive for it). Allâh is the Lord of immense grace and bounty. | سَابِقُوا إِلَى مَغْفِرَة ٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ أُعِدَّتْ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِه ِِ ۚ ذَلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيه ِِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ |
| Mā 'Aşāba Min Muşībatin Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Lā Fī 'Anfusikum 'Illā Fī Kitābin Min Qabli 'An Nabra'ahā ۚ 'Inna Dhālika `Alá Al-Lahi Yasīrun | َ057-022 No disaster befalls either on the earth or in your ownselves but it forms part of the divine Law before We bring it into being. Indeed, it is easy for Allâh (to make such a law). | مَا أَصَابَ مِنْ مُصِيبَة ٍ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ إِلاَّ فِي كِتَاب ٍ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ نَبْرَأَهَا ۚ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِير ٌ |
| Likaylā Ta'saw `Alá Mā Fātakum Wa Lā Tafraĥū Bimā 'Ātākum Wa ۗ Allāhu Lā Yuĥibbu Kulla Mukhtālin Fakhūrin | َ057-023 (Allâh has apprised you of this) that you may neither grieve over that (good) which is lost to you, nor exult because of that which He has granted you. Allâh has no love for all those who are haughty and boastful. | لِكَيْلاَ تَأْسَوْا عَلَى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلاَ تَفْرَحُوا بِمَا آتَاكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَال ٍ فَخُور ٍ |
| Al-Ladhīna Yabkhalūna Wa Ya'murūna An-Nāsa Bil-Bukhli ۗ Wa Man Yatawalla Fa'inna Al-Laha Huwa Al-Ghanīyu Al-Ĥamīdu | َ057-024 (Neither has He love for) those who practice niggardliness themselves and (also) enjoin others to be niggardly. He who turns his back (upon His commandments should beware). Verily, Allâh is Self-Sufficient (free from all needs and) Worthy of all praise (in His own right). | الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبُخْلِ ۗ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ |
| Laqad 'Arsalnā Rusulanā Bil-Bayyināti Wa 'Anzalnā Ma`ahumu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Mīzāna Liyaqūma An-Nāsu Bil-Qisţi ۖ Wa 'Anzalnā Al-Ĥadīda Fīhi Ba'sun Shadīdun Wa Manāfi`u Lilnnāsi Wa Liya`lama Al-Lahu Man Yanşuruhu Wa Rusulahu Bil-Ghaybi ۚ 'Inna Al-Laha Qawīyun `Azīzun | َ057-025 Certainly, We sent Our Messengers with clear proofs and We (also) sent down with them the Code (of Sharî`at - law and justice) and the Balance (- the practice of the Prophet and right use of the Book of God) so that people might conduct themselves with equity and justice. And We have given (to them) iron (which has great strength and) wherein is (material for) violent warfare and for many (other) uses for mankind. All this has been done that Allâh may distinguish those who help Him and His Messengers without having seen Him. Indeed Allâh is All-Powerful, All- Mighty. | لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَنْزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ النَّاسُ بِالْقِسْطِ ۖ وَأَنْزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيه ِِ بَأْس ٌ شَدِيد ٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَنْصُرُه ُُ وَرُسُلَه ُُ بِالْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيز ٌ |
| Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Nūĥāan Wa 'Ibrāhīma Wa Ja`alnā Fī Dhurrīyatihimā An-Nubūwata Wa Al-Kitāba ۖ Faminhum Muhtadin ۖ Wa Kathīrun Minhum Fāsiqūna | َ057-026 Indeed, We sent Noah and Abraham and We set up among their children (a system of) Prophethood and the Book. So some of them followed true guidance but many of them became transgressors. | وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحا ً وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتَابَ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مُهْتَد ٍ ۖ وَكَثِير ٌ مِنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ |
| Thumma Qaffaynā `Alá 'Āthārihim Birusulinā Wa Qaffaynā Bi`īsá Abni Maryama Wa 'Ātaynāhu Al-'Injīla Wa Ja`alnā Fī Qulūbi Al-Ladhīna Attaba`ūhu Ra'fatan Wa Raĥmatan Wa Rahbānīyatan Abtada`ūhā Mā Katabnāhā `Alayhim 'Illā Abtighā'a Riđwāni Al-Lahi Famā Ra`awhā Ĥaqqa Ri`āyatihā ۖ Fa'ātaynā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Minhum 'Ajrahum ۖ Wa Kathīrun Minhum Fāsiqūna | َ057-027 Then We caused a series of Our Messengers one after the other to follow them closely in their footsteps, and we caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow them, and We gave him (- Jesus) the Evangel. And We placed compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who followed him, but as for monasticism they invented it themselves, We did not enjoin it upon them. (They started monastic life) to seek Allâh´s pleasure, but they did not observe it (as faithfully) as it should have been observed. Yet We duly rewarded such of them as (truly) believed but many of them were transgressors. | ثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الإِنجِيلَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوه ُُ رَأْفَة ً وَرَحْمَة ً وَرَهْبَانِيَّة ً ابْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَاهَا عَلَيْهِمْ إِلاَّ ابْتِغَاءَ رِضْوَانِ اللَّهِ فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا ۖ فَآتَيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِير ٌ مِنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Attaqū Al-Laha Wa 'Āminū Birasūlihi Yu'utikum Kiflayni Min Raĥmatihi Wa Yaj`al Lakum Nūrāan Tamshūna Bihi Wa Yaghfir Lakum Wa ۚ Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun | َ057-028 O you who believe! take Allâh as a shield and believe in His Messenger. (If you do so) Allâh will grant you double the share of His mercy (in this world and the Hereafter) and will provide for you a light with the help of which you will advance forward and will grant you protection (against pitfalls). And Allâh is Great Protector, Ever Merciful. | يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَآمِنُوا بِرَسُولِه ِِ يُؤْتِكُمْ كِفْلَيْنِ مِنْ رَحْمَتِه ِِ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ نُورا ً تَمْشُونَ بِه ِِ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ ۚ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ |
| Li'allā Ya`lama 'Ahlu Al-Kitābi 'Allā Yaqdirūna `Alá Shay'in Min Fađli Al-Lahi ۙ Wa 'Anna Al-Fađla Biyadi Al-Lahi Yu'utīhi Man Yashā'u Wa ۚ Allāhu Dhū Al-Fađli Al-`Ažīmi | َ057-029 (You will be so treated) lest the people of the Scripture should think that they (- the Muslims) have no control over the attainment of the grace and bounty of Allâh and (so that they should know) that grace and bounty is entirely in the hands of Allâh; He bestows it upon such as wishes to be granted it (and strives for it). And Allâh is the Lord of immense grace and bounty. | لِئَلاَّ يَعْلَمَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ أَلاَّ يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَى شَيْء ٍ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ ۙ وَأَنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيه ِِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ |
