| 'Alif-Lām-Mīm | َ031-001 Alif Lâm Mîm. | أَلِف-لَام-مِيم |
| Tilka 'Āyātu Al-Kitābi Al-Ĥakīmi | َ031-002 These are the verses of the perfect Book (which is) full of wisdom. | تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْحَكِيمِ |
| Hudáan Wa Raĥmatan Lilmuĥsinīna | َ031-003 (Promising) a thorough guidance and mercy for the doers of good to others, | هُدى ً وَرَحْمَة ً لِلْمُحْسِنِينَ |
| Al-Ladhīna Yuqīmūna Aş-Şalāata Wa Yu'utūna Az-Zakāata Wa Hum Bil-'Ākhirati Hum Yūqinūna | َ031-004 Those who observe Prayer and present the Zakât (- purifying dues) and who have firm faith in (the requital of) the Hereafter, | الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاَةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ بِالآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ |
| 'Ūlā'ika `Alá Hudáan Min Rabbihim ۖ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mufliĥūna | َ031-005 It is they who follow guidance from their Lord and it is they who shall prosper (in the Hereafter as well as in this world). | أُوْلَائِكَ عَلَى هُدى ً مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ |
| Wa Mina An-Nāsi Man Yashtarī Lahwa Al-Ĥadīthi Liyuđilla `An Sabīli Al-Lahi Bighayri `Ilmin Wa Yattakhidhahā Huzūan ۚ 'Ūla'ika Lahum `Adhābun Muhīnun | َ031-006 (On the other hand) there are some people who follow ways of causing diversion (from guidance), with the result that they, in their ignorance, lead (people) astray from Allâh´s path and treat it (- Allâh´s path) as something of least importance. A humiliating punishment awaits such people. | وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْم ٍ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُواً ۚ أُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَاب ٌ مُهِين ٌ |
| Wa 'Idhā Tutlá `Alayhi 'Āyātunā Wallá Mustakbirāan Ka'an Lam Yasma`hā Ka'anna Fī 'Udhunayhi Waqrāan Fabashshirhu ۖ Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin | َ031-007 And when Our Messages are recited to such a person he turns his back (upon them) in disdain as though he never heard them (and) as if he were deaf in both ears. So give him the important tiding of a grievous punishment. | وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا وَلَّى مُسْتَكْبِرا ً كَأَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهَا كَأَنَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَقْرا ً ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيم ٍ |
| 'Inna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum Jannātu An-Na`īmi | َ031-008 As for those who believe and do deeds of righteousness they will have Gardens full of delight and bliss (in Paradise). | إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ النَّعِيمِ |
| Khālidīna Fīhā ۖ Wa`da Al-Lahi Ĥaqqāan ۚ Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu | َ031-009 There in they shall live for ever. (This is) a true promise of Allâh. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. | خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقّا ً ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ |
| Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Bighayri `Amadin Tarawnahā ۖ Wa 'Alqá Fī Al-'Arđi Rawāsiya 'An Tamīda Bikum Wa Baththa Fīhā Min Kulli Dābbatin ۚ Wa 'Anzalnā Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fa'anbatnā Fīhā Min Kulli Zawjin Karīmin | َ031-010 He has created the heavens without any such pillars as you can see. And He has placed firm mountains in the earth that it may not quake with you and to provide you food. And He has scattered in it all kinds of creatures and has rained water from the clouds and caused to grow in it (animals and vegetation) of different fine species. | خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَد ٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ وَأَلْقَى فِي الأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَنْ تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ دَابَّة ٍ ۚ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاء ً فَأَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْج ٍ كَرِيم ٍ |
| Hādhā Khalqu Al-Lahi Fa'arūnī Mādhā Khalaqa Al-Ladhīna Min Dūnihi ۚ Bali Až-Žālimūna Fī Đalālin Mubīnin | َ031-011 So this is Allâh´s creation! Now, you show me the things that those (whom you worship as gods) other than Allâh, have created. Nay, but the unjust (who do not believe in One God) are (engrossed) in obvious error. | هَذَا خَلْقُ اللَّهِ فَأَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ دُونِه ِِ ۚ بَلِ الظَّالِمُونَ فِي ضَلاَل ٍ مُبِين ٍ |
| Wa Laqad 'Ātaynā Luqmāna Al-Ĥikmata 'Ani Ashkur Lillahi ۚ Wa Man Yashkur Fa'innamā Yashkuru Linafsihi ۖ Wa Man Kafara Fa'inna Al-Laha Ghanīyun Ĥamīdun | َ031-012 Behold! We bestowed wisdom on Luqmân and said, `Give thanks to Allâh, for he who gives thanks does it only for his own good; and he who shows ingratitude (should know that) Allâh (needs no gratitude, He) is Self- Sufficient, Praiseworthy (in His own right). | وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا لُقْمَانَ الْحِكْمَةَ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِلَّهِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَشْكُرْ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِه ِِ ۖ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيد ٌ |
| Wa 'Idh Qāla Luqmānu Liābnihi Wa Huwa Ya`ižuhu Yā Bunayya Lā Tushrik Bil-Lahi ۖ 'Inna Ash-Shirka Lažulmun `Ažīmun | َ031-013 And (recall the time) when Luqmân admonished his son and said, `My dear son! associate no partners with Allâh, surely this (act of) associating partners (with Him) is a grievous wrong. | وَإِذْ قَالَ لُقْمَانُ لِابْنِه ِِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُه ُُ يَابُنَيَّ لاَ تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ ۖ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيم ٌ |
| Wa Waşşaynā Al-'Insāna Biwālidayhi Ĥamalat/hu 'Ummuhu Wahnāan `Alá Wahnin Wa Fişāluhu Fī `Āmayni 'Ani Ashkur Lī Wa Liwālidayka 'Ilayya Al-Maşīru | َ031-014 `And (Allâh says), "We have enjoined on every human being concerning his parents (to be good to them). His mother is worn and wasted in bearing him and it takes her two years to wean him. And give thanks to Me and to your parents. To Me shall be the (ultimate) return (of you all). | وَوَصَّيْنَا الإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّه ُُ وَهْناً عَلَى وَهْن ٍ وَفِصَالُه ُُ فِي عَامَيْنِ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ |
| Wa 'In Jāhadāka `Alá 'An Tushrika Bī Mā Laysa Laka Bihi `Ilmun Falā Tuţi`humā ۖ Wa Şāĥibhumā Fī Ad-Dunyā Ma`rūfāan ۖ Wa Attabi` Sabīla Man 'Anāba 'Ilayya ۚ Thumma 'Ilayya Marji`ukum Fa'unabbi'ukum Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna | َ031-015 But if they (-the parents) impose upon you to set up equals with Me, the things that you know to be nothing at all, do not obey them (so far as this wish of theirs is concerned). Yet keep company with them showing uniform courtesy, love and kindness to them in (all) worldly affairs. But (in spiritual matters) follow the way of one who turns to Me (in obedience and repentance). Then to Me will be the ultimate return of you all and I shall inform you all about your deeds.´ | وَإِنْ جَاهَدَاكَ عَلى أَنْ تُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِه ِِ عِلْم ٌ فَلاَ تُطِعْهُمَا ۖ وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفا ً ۖ وَاتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَيَّ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |
| Yā Bunayya 'Innahā 'In Takun Mithqāla Ĥabbatin Min Khardalin Fatakun Fī Şakhratin 'Aw Fī As-Samāwāti 'Aw Fī Al-'Arđi Ya'ti Bihā Al-Lahu ۚ 'Inna Al-Laha Laţīfun Khabīrun | َ031-016 (Luqmân continued,) `My dear son! even if it (-the deed, good or bad) be as little as the weight of a grain of a mustard seed and even though it be hidden in (the hard layers of) a rock or in (the lofty heights of) the heavens or in (the dark womb of) the earth, Allâh is sure to bring it (to light and take an account of it). Verily, Allâh is the Knower of all subtleties (and all hidden secrets) and is All-Aware. | يَابُنَيَّ إِنَّهَا إِنْ تَكُنْ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّة ٍ مِنْ خَرْدَل ٍ فَتَكُنْ فِي صَخْرَةٍ أَوْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَوْ فِي الأَرْضِ يَأْتِ بِهَا اللَّهُ إِنَّ ۚ اللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِير ٌ |
| Yā Bunayya 'Aqimi Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Mur Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Anha `Ani Al-Munkari Wa Aşbir `Alá Mā 'Aşābaka ۖ 'Inna Dhālika Min `Azmi Al-'Umūri | َ031-017 `My dear son! observe the prayer and enjoin what is good and just and forbid what is evil and wrong and endure with fortitude what befalls you. Verily, all these are matters (which stand in need) of strong resolve. | يَابُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا أَصَابَكَ إِنَّ ۖ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الأُمُورِ |
| Wa Lā Tuşa``ir Khaddaka Lilnnāsi Wa Lā Tamshi Fī Al-'Arđi Maraĥāan ۖ 'Inna Al-Laha Lā Yuĥibbu Kulla Mukhtālin Fakhūrin | َ031-018 `And do not turn your face away from people in scorn and pride, nor walk about on the earth haughtily. Surely, Allâh does not love any self-conceited boaster. | وَلاَ تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلاَ تَمْشِ فِي الأَرْضِ مَرَحا ً ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَال ٍ فَخُور ٍ |
| Wāqşid Fī Mashyika Wa Aghđuđ Min Şawtika ۚ 'Inna 'Ankara Al-'Aşwāti Laşawtu Al-Ĥamīri | َ031-019 `Rather walk with modest pace and talk in soft gentle tone. Surely, the most repugnant of voices is the braying of the donkey.´ | وَاقْصِدْ فِي مَشْيِكَ وَاغْضُضْ مِنْ صَوْتِكَ ۚ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ الأَصْوَاتِ لَصَوْتُ الْحَمِيرِ |
| 'Alam Taraw 'Anna Al-Laha Sakhkhara Lakum Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa 'Asbagha `Alaykum Ni`amahu Žāhiratan Wa Bāţinatan ۗ Wa Mina An-Nāsi Man Yujādilu Fī Al-Lahi Bighayri `Ilmin Wa Lā Hudáan Wa Lā Kitābin Munīrin | َ031-020 Do you not see how Allâh has made subservient to you all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth and lavished upon you His blessings (both) visible and invisible? Still there are some among mankind who argue about Allâh though they have no knowledge, no guidance and no illuminating Book. | أَلَمْ تَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُمْ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَأَسْبَغَ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعَمَه ُُ ظَاهِرَة ً وَبَاطِنَة ً ۗ وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْم ٍ وَلاَ هُدى ً وَلاَ كِتَاب ٍ مُنِير ٍ |
| Wa 'Idhā Qīla Lahumu Attabi`ū Mā 'Anzala Al-Lahu Qālū Bal Nattabi`u Mā Wajadnā `Alayhi 'Ābā'anā ۚ 'Awalaw Kāna Ash-Shayţānu Yad`ūhum 'Ilá `Adhābi As-Sa`īri | َ031-021 And when it is said to them, `Follow that which Allâh has revealed.´ They say, `We would rather follow that which we found our fore- fathers following.´ (Would they do so) even though satan was inviting them (by that means) to the punishment of the flaming Fire? | وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا ۚ أَوَلَوْ كَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ |
| Wa Man Yuslim Wajhahu 'Ilá Al-Lahi Wa Huwa Muĥsinun Faqadi Astamsaka Bil-`Urwati Al-Wuthqá Wa 'Ilá ۗ Al-Lahi `Āqibatu Al-'Umūri | َ031-022 And he who resigns himself wholly and solely to the will of Allâh and is a doer of good to others has indeed a hold on a support, firm and strong. And the end of all matters rests with Allâh (Who causes their results). | وَمَنْ يُسْلِمْ وَجْهَهُ~ُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِن ٌ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَى ۗ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ عَاقِبَةُ الأُمُورِ |
| Wa Man Kafara Falā Yaĥzunka Kufruhu ۚ 'Ilaynā Marji`uhum Fanunabbi'uhum Bimā `Amilū ۚ 'Inna Al-Laha `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri | َ031-023 And as for him who disbelieves, let not his disbelief grieve you. To Us is their return (in the long run); We shall inform them all that they did. Verily, Allâh knows full well the innermost (thoughts) of their minds. | وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَلاَ يَحْزُنْكَ كُفْرُهُ~ُ ۚ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا عَمِلُوا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيم ٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ |
| Numatti`uhum Qalīlāan Thumma Nađţarruhum 'Ilá `Adhābin Ghalīžin | َ031-024 We shall let them enjoy (the worldly provisions) for a short while, then We shall drive them helplessly to a severe punishment. | نُمَتِّعُهُمْ قَلِيلا ً ثُمَّ نَضْطَرُّهُمْ إِلَى عَذَابٍ غَلِيظ ٍ |
| Wa La'in Sa'altahum Man Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Layaqūlunna Al-Lahu ۚ Quli Al-Ĥamdu Lillahi ۚ Bal 'Aktharuhum Lā Ya`lamūna | َ031-025 And if you ask them, `Who has created the heavens and the earth?´ They will certainly answer, `Allâh.´ Say, `All type of perfect and true praise belongs to Allâh!´ But most of them do not know (the meanings implied in it). | وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۚ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ |
| Lillahi Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۚ 'Inna Al-Laha Huwa Al-Ghanīyu Al-Ĥamīdu | َ031-026 All that lies in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Self- Sufficient, and is Praiseworthy (in His own right). | لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ |
| Wa Law 'Annamā Fī Al-'Arđi Min Shajaratin 'Aqlāmun Wa Al-Baĥru Yamudduhu Min Ba`dihi Sab`atu 'Abĥurin Mā Nafidat Kalimātu Al-Lahi ۗ 'Inna Al-Laha `Azīzun Ĥakīmun | َ031-027 And if all the trees on the earth were to be pens and the vast ocean (be full of ink) and besides that many (more) such oceans to replenish it (and were to supply ink to write the words of God) even then the words of Allâh would not be finished. Verily, Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise. | وَلَوْ أَنَّمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ أَقْلاَم ٌ وَالْبَحْرُ يَمُدُّه ُُ مِنْ بَعْدِه ِِ سَبْعَةُ أَبْحُر ٍ مَا نَفِدَتْ كَلِمَاتُ اللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيم ٌ |
| Mā Khalqukum Wa Lā Ba`thukum 'Illā Kanafsin Wāĥidatin ۗ 'Inna Al-Laha Samī`un Başīrun | َ031-028 The creation of you all and your resurrection (for Him) are only like (the creation and resurrection of) one single soul; (all human beings are subject to the same laws of God). Verily, Allâh is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. | مَا خَلْقُكُمْ وَلاَ بَعْثُكُمْ إِلاَّ كَنَفْس ٍ وَاحِدَة ٍ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيع ٌ بَصِير ٌ |
| 'Alam Tará 'Anna Al-Laha Yūliju Al-Layla Fī An-Nahāri Wa Yūliju An-Nahāra Fī Al-Layli Wa Sakhkhara Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Kullun Yajrī 'Ilá 'Ajalin Musammáan Wa 'Anna Al-Laha Bimā Ta`malūna Khabīrun | َ031-029 Do you not see that Allâh makes the night gain on the day and makes the day gain on the night and He has harnessed the sun and the moon (into the service of mankind) each one of them pursuing its course for a stated term? And (do you not see) that Allâh is Well-Aware of your deeds? | أَلَمْ تَرَى أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلّ ٌ يَجْرِي إِلَى أَجَل ٍ مُسَمّى ً وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِير ٌ |
| Dhālika Bi'anna Al-Laha Huwa Al-Ĥaqqu Wa 'Anna Mā Yad`ūna Min Dūnihi Al-Bāţilu Wa 'Anna Al-Laha Huwa Al-`Alīyu Al-Kabīru | َ031-030 All this is (going on) because Allâh alone is the Ultimate Truth and because all that they call upon beside Him are false (gods) and because Allâh alone is the Most Exalted, the Incomparably Great. | ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ الْبَاطِلُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ |
| 'Alam Tará 'Anna Al-Fulka Tajrī Fī Al-Baĥri Bini`mati Al-Lahi Liyuriyakum Min 'Āyātihi ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Likulli Şabbārin Shakūrin | َ031-031 Do you not see that the ships sail through the sea carrying bounty by the favour of Allâh. (He has ordained it so) that He may show some of His signs to you. Surely, in this are important signs for every patiently persevering and grateful person. | أَلَمْ تَرَى أَنَّ الْفُلْكَ تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ لِيُرِيَكُمْ مِنْ آيَاتِهِ~ِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَات ٍ لِكُلِّ صَبَّار ٍ شَكُور ٍ |
| Wa 'Idhā Ghashiyahum Mawjun Kālžžulali Da`aw Al-Laha Mukhlişīna Lahu Ad-Dīna Falammā Najjāhum 'Ilá Al-Barri Faminhum Muqtaşidun ۚ Wa Mā Yajĥadu Bi'āyātinā 'Illā Kullu Khattārin Kafūrin | َ031-032 And when a huge wave covers (the sailors) like (so many) canopies, they call upon Allâh bearing sincere faith in Him. But when He brings them safe to land then (only) some of them keep to the right course (and some of them become indifferent). Yet none denies Our signs except every perfidious ungrateful person. | وَإِذَا غَشِيَهُمْ مَوْج ٌ كَالظُّلَلِ دَعَوْا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاهُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ فَمِنْهُمْ مُقْتَصِد ٌ ۚ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلاَّ كُلُّ خَتَّار ٍ كَفُور ٍ |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu Attaqū Rabbakum Wa Akhshaw Yawmāan Lā Yajzī Wa A-Dun `An Waladihi Wa Lā Mawlūdun Huwa Jāzin `An Wa A-Dihi Shay'āan ۚ 'Inna Wa`da Al-Lahi Ĥaqqun ۖ Falā Taghurrannakumu Al-Ĥayā Atu Ad-Dunyā Wa Lā Yaghurrannakum Bil-Lahi Al-Gharūru | َ031-033 Mankind! take your Lord as a shield and guard against the day when a father will be of no avail to his son, nor will (any of) the offspring be availing his father. Allâh´s promise (about the coming of that day) is true indeed. Therefore,do not let the present life beguile you, nor let an arch-deceiver entice you away from Allâh. | يَاأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَاخْشَوْا يَوْما ً لاَ يَجْزِي وَالِدٌ عَنْ وَلَدِه ِِ وَلاَ مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَنْ وَالِدِه ِِ شَيْئا ً إِنَّ ۚ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقّ ٌ فَلاَ ۖ تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلاَ يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ |
| 'Inna Al-Laha `Indahu `Ilmu As-Sā`ati Wa Yunazzilu Al-Ghaytha Wa Ya`lamu Mā Fī Al-'Arĥāmi ۖ Wa Mā Tadrī Nafsun Mādhā Taksibu Ghadāan ۖ Wa Mā Tadrī Nafsun Bi'ayyi 'Arđin Tamūtu ۚ 'Inna Al-Laha `Alīmun Khabīrun | َ031-034 Verily, Allâh alone has the knowledge of the Hour (of Resurrection). He sends down the rain. And He knows what the wombs contain. And nobody knows what he will accomplish on the morrow. And nobody knows the land where he will die. Verily, Allâh (alone) is the All-Knowing, All-Aware. | إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَه ُُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الأَرْحَامِ ۖ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْس ٌ مَاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدا ً ۖ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْس ٌ بِأَيِّ أَرْض ٍ تَمُوتُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِير ٌ |
