| Sabbaĥa Lillahi Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu | 061.001 Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, let it declare the Praises and Glory of God: for He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū Lima Taqūlūna Mā Lā Taf`alūna | 061.002 O ye who believe! Why say ye that which ye do not? |
| Kabura Maqtāan `Inda Al-Lahi 'An Taqūlū Mā Lā Taf`alūna | 061.003 Grievously odious is it in the sight of God that ye say that which ye do not. |
| 'Inna Al-Laha Yuĥibbu Al-Ladhīna Yuqātilūna Fī Sabīlihi Şaffāan Ka'annahum Bunyānun Marşūşun | 061.004 Truly God loves those who fight in His Cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure. |
| Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsá Liqawmihi Yā Qawmi Lima Tu'udhūnanī Wa Qad Ta`lamūna 'Annī Rasūlu Al-Lahi 'Ilaykum Falammā Zāghū 'Azāgha Al-Lahu Qulūbahum Wa Allāhu Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Al-Fāsiqīna | 061.005 And remember, Moses said to his people: "O my people! why do ye vex and insult me, though ye know that I am the apostle of God (sent) to you?" Then when they went wrong, God let their hearts go wrong. For God guides not those who are rebellious transgressors. |
| Wa 'Idh Qāla `Īsá Abnu Maryama Yā Banī 'Isrā'īla 'Innī Rasūlu Al-Lahi 'Ilaykum Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayya Mina At-Tawrāati Wa Mubashshirāan Birasūlin Ya'tī Min Ba`dī Asmuhu 'Aĥmadu Falammā Jā'ahum Bil-Bayyināti Qālū Hādhā Siĥrun Mubīnun | 061.006 And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the apostle of God (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of an Apostle to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!" |
| Wa Man 'Ažlamu Mimmani Aftará `Alá Al-Lahi Al-Kadhiba Wa Huwa Yud`á 'Ilá Al-'Islāmi Wa Allāhu Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna | 061.007 Who doth greater wrong than one who invents falsehood against God, even as he is being invited to Islam? And God guides not those who do wrong. |
| Yurīdūna Liyuţfi'ū Nūra Al-Lahi Bi'afwāhihim Wa Allāhu Mutimmu Nūrihi Wa Law Kariha Al-Kāfirūna | 061.008 Their intention is to extinguish God's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But God will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it). |
| Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Arsala Rasūlahu Bil-Hudá Wa Dīni Al-Ĥaqqi Liyužhirahu `Alá Ad-Dīni Kullihi Wa Law Kariha Al-Mushrikūna | 061.009 It is He Who has sent His Apostle with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it). |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū Hal 'Adullukum `Alá Tijāratin Tunjīkum Min `Adhābin 'Alīmin | 061.010 O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty?- |
| Tu'uminūna Bil-Lahi Wa Rasūlihi Wa Tujāhidūna Fī Sabīli Al-Lahi Bi'amwālikum Wa 'Anfusikum Dhālikum Khayrun Lakum 'In Kuntum Ta`lamūna | 061.011 That ye believe in God and His Apostle, and that ye strive (your utmost) in the Cause of God, with your property and your persons: That will be best for you, if ye but knew! |
| Yaghfir Lakum Dhunūbakum Wa Yudkhilkum Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Wa Masākina Ţayyibatan Fī Jannāti `Adnin Dhālika Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu | 061.012 He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity: that is indeed the Supreme Achievement. |
| Wa 'Ukhrá Tuĥibbūnahā Naşrun Mina Al-Lahi Wa Fatĥun Qarībun Wa Bashshiri Al-Mu'uminīna | 061.013 And another (favour will He bestow,) which ye do love,- help from God and a speedy victory. So give the Glad Tidings to the Believers. |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū Kūnw 'Anşāra Al-Lahi Kamā Qāla `Īsá Abnu Maryama Lilĥawārīyīna Man 'Anşārī 'Ilá Al-Lahi Qāla Al-Ĥawārīyūna Naĥnu 'Anşāru Al-Lahi Fa'āamanat Ţā'ifatun Min Banī 'Isrā'īla Wa Kafarat Ţā'ifatun Fa'ayyadnā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū `Alá `Adūwihim Fa'aşbaĥū Žāhirīna | 061.014 O ye who believe! Be ye helpers of God: As said Jesus the son of Mary to the Disciples, "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) God?" Said the disciples, "We are God's helpers!" then a portion of the Children of Israel believed, and a portion disbelieved: But We gave power to those who believed, against their enemies, and they became the ones that prevailed. |
