'Idhā As-Samā'u Anshaqqat | When the heaven is split asunder, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:1) |
Wa 'Adhinat Lirabbihā Wa Ĥuqqat | And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; (Al-Inshiqaq 84:2) |
Wa 'Idhā Al-'Arđu Muddat | And when the earth is stretched forth, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:3) |
Wa 'Alqat Mā Fīhā Wa Takhallat | And has cast out all that was in it and became empty, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:4) |
Wa 'Adhinat Lirabbihā Wa Ĥuqqat | And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; (Al-Inshiqaq 84:5) |
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-'Insānu 'Innaka Kādiĥun 'Ilá Rabbika Kadĥāan Famulāqīhi | O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions (good or bad), a sure returning, so you will meet (i.e. the results of your deeds which you did). (Al-Inshiqaq 84:6) |
Fa'ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Biyamīnihi | Then, as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:7) |
Fasawfa Yuĥāsabu Ĥisābāan Yasīrāan | He surely will receive an easy reckoning, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:8) |
Wa Yanqalibu 'Ilá 'Ahlihi Masrūrāan | And will return to his family in joy! (Al-Inshiqaq 84:9) |
Wa 'Ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Warā'a Žahrihi | But whosoever is given his Record behind his back, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:10) |
Fasawfa Yad`ū Thubūrāan | He will invoke (his) destruction, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:11) |
Wa Yaşlá Sa`īrāan | And shall enter a blazing Fire, and made to taste its burning. (Al-Inshiqaq 84:12) |
'Innahu Kāna Fī 'Ahlihi Masrūrāan | Verily, he was among his people in joy! (Al-Inshiqaq 84:13) |
'Innahu Žanna 'An Lan Yaĥūra | Verily, he thought that he would never come back (to Us)! (Al-Inshiqaq 84:14) |
Balá 'Inna Rabbahu Kāna Bihi Başīrāan | Yes! Verily, his Lord has been ever beholding him! (Al-Inshiqaq 84:15) |
Falā 'Uqsimu Bish-Shafaqi | So I swear by the afterglow of sunset; (Al-Inshiqaq 84:16) |
Wa Al-Layli Wa Mā Wasaqa | And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness; (Al-Inshiqaq 84:17) |
Wa Al-Qamari 'Idhā Attasaqa | And by the moon when it is at the full, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:18) |
Latarkabunna Ţabaqāan `An Ţabaqin | You shall certainly travel from stage to stage (in this life and in the Hereafter). (Al-Inshiqaq 84:19) |
Famā Lahum Lā Yu'uminūna | What is the matter with them, that they believe not? (Al-Inshiqaq 84:20) |
Wa 'Idhā Quri'a `Alayhimu Al-Qur'ānu Lā Yasjudūna | And when the Qur'ān is recited to them, they fall not prostrate, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:21) |
Bali Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yukadhdhibūna | Nay, (on the contrary), those who disbelieve, belie (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and whatever he brought, i.e. this Qur'ān and Islāmic Monotheism, etc.). (Al-Inshiqaq 84:22) |
Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Yū`ūna | And Allāh knows best what they gather (of good and bad deeds), (Al-Inshiqaq 84:23) |
Fabashshirhum Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin | So announce to them a painful torment. (Al-Inshiqaq 84:24) |
'Illā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum 'Ajrun Ghayru Mamnūnin | Save those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them is a reward that will never come to an end (i.e. Paradise). (Al-Inshiqaq 84:25) |
