Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allāh through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship. Surely, Allāh is Ever an AllWatcher over you. (An-Nisa 4:1)

Surely, this is a great sin. (An-Nisa 4:2)

That is nearer to prevent you from doing injustice. (An-Nisa 4:3)
Wa 'Ā An-Nisā' Şaduqātihinna Niĥlatan Fa'in Ţibna Lakum `An Shay'in Minhu Nafsāan Fakulūhu Hanī'āan Marī'āan And give to the women (whom you marry) their Mahr (obligatory bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage) with a good heart, but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, take it, and enjoy it without fear of any harm (as Allāh has made it lawful). (An-Nisa 4:4)

And when you release their property to them, take witness in their presence; and Allāh is AllSufficient in taking account. (An-Nisa 4:6)

Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allāh and to their husbands), and guard in the husband's absence what Allāh orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband's property, etc.). As to those women on whose part you see illconduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful), but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Then they worshipped the calf even after clear proofs, evidences, and signs had come to them. (Even) so We forgave them. And We gave Mûsa (Moses) a clear proof of authority. (An-Nisa 4:153)

Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allāh aught but the truth. The Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), was (no more than) a Messenger of Allāh and His Word, ("Be!" - and he was) which He bestowed on Maryam (Mary) and a spirit (Rûh) created by Him; so believe in Allāh and His Messengers. Say not: "Three (trinity)!" Cease! (it is) better for you. For Allāh is (the only) One Ilāh (God), Glory be to Him (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allāh is AllSufficient as a Disposer of affairs. (An-Nisa 4:171)

But as for those who refuse His worship and were proud, He will punish them with a painful torment . And they will not find for themselves besides Allāh any protector or helper. (An-Nisa 4:173)
