وَ‍‍ق‍‍‍‍َ‍الَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَشْ‍رَكُو‌ا‌ لَوْ‌ ش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ مَا‌ عَبَ‍‍دْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌دُ‌ونِه ِ‍ِ‍‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ شَيْء‌ٍ‌ نَحْنُ ‌وَلاَ‌ ‌آب‍‍َ‍ا‌ؤُنَا‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ حَ‍رَّمْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌دُ‌ونِه ِ‍ِ‍‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ شَيْء‌‌ٍۚ كَذَلِكَ فَعَلَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍‍‍ب‍‍ْ‍لِهِمْ ۚ فَهَلْ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍رُّسُلِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌الْبَلاَ‍‍غُ ‌الْمُب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نُ

016-035  Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna 'Ashrakū Law Shā'a Al-Lahu Mā `Abadnā Min Dūnihi Min Shay'in Naĥnu Wa Lā 'Ābā'uunā Wa Lā Ĥarramnā Min Dūnihi Min Shay'in ۚ Kadhālika Fa`ala Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim ۚ Fahal `Alá Ar-Rusuli 'Illā Al-Balāghu Al-Mubīnu

 016.035 The worshippers of false gods say: "If God had so willed, we should not have worshipped aught but Him - neither we nor our fathers,- nor should we have prescribed prohibitions other than His." So did those who went before them. But what is the mission of apostles but to preach the Clear Message?
