فَلَ‍‍مّ‍‍َ‍ا‌ ‌اسْتَيْئَسُو‌ا‌ مِنْهُ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍صُ‍‍و‌ا‌ نَجِيّا‌‌ ًۖ ق‍‍‍‍َ‍الَ كَبِيرُهُمْ ‌أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌أَنَّ ‌أَبَاكُمْ قَ‍‍‍‍دْ‌ ‌أَ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَ‌ عَلَيْكُ‍‍مْ مَوْثِ‍‍ق‍‍ا‌‌ ً‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍‍‍ب‍‍ْ‍لُ مَا‌ فَ‍رَّ‍ط‍‍‍‍تُمْ فِي يُوسُفَ ۖ فَلَنْ ‌أَب‍‍ْ‍‍رَحَ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضَ حَتَّى‌ يَأْ‌ذَنَ لِ‍‍ي ‌أَبِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يَحْكُمَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ لِي ۖ ‌وَهُوَ‌ خَ‍‍يْرُ‌ ‌الْحَاكِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ

012-080  Falammā Astay'asū Minhu Khalaşū Najīyāan ۖ Qāla Kabīruhum 'Alam Ta`lamū 'Anna 'Abākum Qad 'Akhadha `Alaykum Mawthiqāan Mina Al-Lahi Wa Min Qablu Mā Farraţtum Fī Yūsufa ۖ Falan 'Abraĥa Al-'Arđa Ĥattá Ya'dhana Lī 'Abī 'Aw Yaĥkuma Al-Lahu Lī ۖ Wa Huwa Khayru Al-Ĥākimīna

 012.080 Now when they saw no hope of his (yielding), they held a conference in private. The leader among them said: "Know ye not that your father did take an oath from you in God's name, and how, before this, ye did fail in your duty with Joseph? Therefore will I not leave this land until my father permits me, or God commands me; and He is the best to command.
