فَرِحَ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ خِلاَفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَكَرِهُوا أَنْ يُجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَقَالُوا لاَ تَنفِرُوا فِي الْحَرِّ ۗ قُلْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرّا ً ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَفْقَهُونَ |
009-081 Fariĥa Al-Mukhallafūna Bimaq`adihim Khilāfa Rasūli Al-Lahi Wa Karihū 'An Yujāhidū Bi'amwālihim Wa 'Anfusihim Fī Sabīli Al-Lahi Wa Qālū Lā Tanfirū Fī Al-Ĥarri ۗ Qul Nāru Jahannama 'Ashaddu Ĥarrāan ۚ Law Kānū Yafqahūna |

009.081 Those who were left behind (in the Tabuk expedition) rejoiced in their inaction behind the back of the Apostle of God: they hated to strive and fight, with their goods and their persons, in the cause of God: they said, "Go not forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Hell is fiercer in heat." If only they could understand! |
