إِ‌ذْ‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍ْ‍تُ‍‍مْ بِ‍الْعُ‍‍دْ‌وَةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّن‍‍ْ‍يَا‌ ‌وَهُ‍‍مْ بِ‍الْعُ‍‍دْ‌وَةِ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍‍‍صْ‍‍وَ‌ى‌ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍‍رَّكْبُ ‌أَسْفَلَ مِ‍‌‍ن‍‍ْ‍كُمْ ۚ ‌وَلَوْ‌ تَوَ‌اعَ‍‍دتُّمْ لاَ‍‍خْ‍‍تَلَفْتُمْ فِي ‌الْمِيع‍‍َ‍ا‌دِ‌ ۙ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نْ لِيَ‍‍‍‍ق‍‍‍‍ْ‍‍‍ضِ‍‍يَ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ ‌أَمْر‌ا‌‌ ً‌ ك‍‍َ‍انَ مَفْعُولا‌ ً‌ لِيَهْلِكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ عَ‍‍نْ بَيِّنَةٍ‌ ‌وَيَحْيَى‌ مَنْ حَيَّ عَ‍‍نْ بَيِّنَةٍۗ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ لَسَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عٌ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍م‌‍ٌ

008-042  'Idh 'Antum Bil-`Udwati Ad-Dunyā Wa Hum Bil-`Udwati Al-Quşwá Wa Ar-Rakbu 'Asfala Minkum ۚ Wa Law Tawā`adttumkhtalaftum Al-Mī`ādi ۙ Wa Lakin Liyaqđiya Al-Lahu 'Aman Kāna Maf`ūlāan Liyahlika Man Halaka `An Bayyinatin Wa Yaĥyá Man Ĥayya `An Bayyinatin ۗ Wa 'Inna Al-Laha Lasamī`un `Alīmun

 008.042 Remember ye were on the hither side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on lower ground than ye. Even if ye had made a mutual appointment to meet, ye would certainly have failed in the appointment: But (thus ye met), that God might accomplish a matter already enacted; that those who died might die after a clear Sign (had been given), and those who lived might live after a Clear Sign (had been given). And verily God is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).
