سَيَ‍‍ق‍‍‍‍ُ‍ولُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَشْ‍رَكُو‌ا‌ لَوْ‌ ش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ ‌ال‍‍لَّهُ مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَشْ‍رَكْنَا‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ ‌آب‍‍َ‍ا‌ؤُنَا‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ حَ‍رَّمْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ شَيْء‌‌ٍۚ كَذَلِكَ كَذَّبَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍‍‍ب‍‍ْ‍لِهِمْ حَتَّى‌ ‌ذَ‌اقُ‍‍و‌ا‌ بَأْسَنَا‌ ۗ قُ‍‍لْ هَلْ عِ‍‌‍ن‍‍ْ‍دَكُ‍‍مْ مِنْ عِلْم‌‍ٍ‌ فَتُ‍‍خْ‍‍‍‍رِج‍‍ُ‍وه ُ‌ لَنَ‍‍اۖ ‌إِ‌نْ تَتَّبِع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌ال‍‍‍‍ظّ‍‍َ‍‍نَّ ‌وَ‌إِنْ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍ْ‍تُمْ ‌إِلاَّ‌ تَ‍‍خْ‍‍رُ‍‍ص‍‍‍‍ُ‍ونَ

006-148  Sayaqūlu Al-Ladhīna 'Ashrakū Law Shā'a Al-Lahu Mā 'Ashraknā Wa Lā 'Ābā'uunā Wa Lā Ĥarramnā Min Shay'in ۚ Kadhālika Kadhdhaba Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Ĥattá Dhāqū Ba'sanā ۗ Qul Hal `Indakum Min `Ilmin Fatukhrijūhu Lanā ۖ 'In Tattabi`ūna 'Illā Až-Žanna Wa 'In 'Antum 'Illā Takhruşūna

 006.148 Those who give partners (to God) will say: "If God had wished, we should not have given partners to Him nor would our fathers; nor should we have had any taboos." So did their ancestors argue falsely, until they tasted of Our wrath. Say: "Have ye any (certain) knowledge? If so, produce it before us. Ye follow nothing but conjecture: ye do nothing but lie."
