وَقَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقا ً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ ۖ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الإِنجِيلَ فِيه ِِ هُدى ً وَنُورٌ وَمُصَدِّقا ً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَهُدى ً وَمَوْعِظَة ً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

005-046 Wa Qaffaynā `Alá 'Āthārihim Bi`īsá Abni Maryama Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Mina At-Tawrāati ۖ Wa 'Ātaynāhu Al-'Injīla Fīhi Hudáan Wa Nūrun Wa Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Mina At-Tawrāati Wa Hudáan Wa Maw`ižatan Lilmuttaqīna |

005.046 And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah.
