وَإِنْ كُنتُمْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ وَلَمْ تجِدُوا كَاتِبا ً فَرِهَانٌ مَقْبُوضَةٌ ۖ فَإِنْ أَمِنَ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضا ً فَلْيُؤَدِّ الَّذِي اؤْتُمِنَ أَمَانَتَه ُ وَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ رَبَّه ُ ۗ وَلاَ تَكْتُمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ ۚ وَمَنْ يَكْتُمْهَا فَإِنَّهُ آثِمٌ قَلْبُه ُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ |
002-283 Wa 'In Kuntum `Alá Safarin Wa Lam Tjidū Kātibāan Farihānun Maqbūđatun ۖ Fa'in 'Amina Ba`đukum Ba`đāan Falyu'uaddi Al-Ladhī A'utumina 'Amānatahu Wa Līattaqi Al-Laha Rabbahu ۗ Wa Lā Taktumū Ash-Shahādata ۚ Wa Man Yaktumhā Fa'innahu 'Āthimun Qalbuhu Wa ۗ Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna `Alīmun |

002.283 If ye are on a journey, and cannot find a scribe, a pledge with possession (may serve the purpose). And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, Let the trustee (Faithfully) discharge His trust, and let him fear his Lord. Conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it,- His heart is tainted with sin. And God Knoweth all that ye do. |
