لِلفُ‍‍قَ‍‍ر‍َ‍‌ا‌ءِ‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أُحْ‍‍صِ‍‍رُ‌و‌ا‌ فِي سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌ال‍‍لَّهِ لاَ‌ يَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍يع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ضَ‍‍رْبا‌‌ ً‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ يَحْسَبُهُمُ ‌الْجَاهِلُ ‌أَ‍‍غْ‍‍نِي‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍تَّعَفُّفِ تَعْ‍‍رِفُهُ‍‍مْ بِسِيمَاهُمْ لاَ‌ يَسْأَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍اسَ ‌إِلْحَافا‌‌ ًۗ ‌وَمَا‌ تُ‍‌‍ن‍‍فِ‍‍قُ‍‍و‌ا‌ مِنْ خَ‍‍يْر‌‌ٍ‌ فَإِنَّ ‌ال‍‍لَّهَ بِه ِ‍ِ‍‌ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍م‌‍ٌ

002-273  Lilfuqarā'i Al-Ladhīna 'Uĥşirū Fī Sabīli Al-Lahi Lā Yastaţī`ūna Đarbāan Al-'Arđi Yaĥsabuhumu Al-Jāhilu 'Aghniyā'a Mina At-Ta`affufi Ta`rifuhum Bisīmāhum Lā Yas'alūna An-Nāsa 'Ilĥāfāan ۗ Wa Mā Tunfiqū Min Khayrin Fa'inna Al-Laha Bihi `Alīmun

 002.273 (Charity is) for those in need, who, in God's cause are restricted (from travel), and cannot move about in the land, seeking (For trade or work): the ignorant man thinks, because of their modesty, that they are free from want. Thou shalt know them by their (Unfailing) mark: They beg not importunately from all the sundry. And whatever of good ye give, be assured God knoweth it well.
