38. Settling a debt

  .38 دعاء قضاء الدين

(128)  

 ‘O Allah make what is lawful enough for me as opposed to what is unlawful and spare me by Your grace of need of others.’

(128) Al-Lahumma Akfinī Biĥalālika `An Ĥarāmika Wa 'Aghninī Bifađlika `Amman Siwāka.
 
(128) اللَّهمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ.

(129)  

 ‘O Allah I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow weakness and laziness miserliness and cowardice the burden of debts and from being over powered by men.’

(129) Al-Lahumma 'Innī 'A`ūdhu Bika Mina Al-Hammi Wa Al-Ĥuzni Wa Al-`Ajzi Wa Al-Kasali Wa Al-Bukhli Wa Al-Jubni Wa Đal`i Ad-Dayni Wa Ghalabati Ar-Rijāli.
 

(129) اللَّهمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الهَمِّ وَالحُزْنِ، وَالعَجْزِ وَالكَسَلِ وَالبُخْلِ وَالجُبْنِ، وَضَلْعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ.
 
     

39. Supplication for one afflicated by whisperings in prayer or recitation

(130)  

othman Ibn Al-AAas t narrated: I said ‘O Messenger of Allah verily the devil comes between me and my prayer and recitation making me confused’ The Messenger of Allah r replied ‘That is a devil called Khanzab so if you sense his presence then seek refuge in Allah from him and spit (A form of spitting comprising mainly of air with little spittle) on your left side three times.’

 

(130) أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم واتفل على يسارك ( ثلاثا )

 
     

40. Supplication for one whose affairs have become difficult

 

  .40دعاء من استصعب عليه أمر

(131)  

 ‘O Allah there is no ease except in that which You have made easy and You make the difficulty if You wish easy.’

(131) Al-Lahumma Lā Sahla 'Illā Mā Ja`altahu Sahlāan Wa 'Anta Taj`alu Al-Ĥazana 'Idhā Shi'ta Sahlāan.
 

(131) اللَّهمَّ لا سَهْلَ إِلاَّ مَا جَعَلتَه ُُ سَهْلا، ً وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الحَزَنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلا.ً
 
     

41. Upon committing a sin

 

  .41ما يقول ويفعل من أذنب ذنباً

(132)  

‘Any servant who commits a sin and as a result performs ablution prays two units of prayer (i.e. two rakAAas) and then seeks Allah’s forgiveness Allah would forgive him.’

 

 (132) " ما من عبد يذنب ذنبا فيحسن الطهور، ثم يقوم فيصلي ركعتين، ثم يستغفر الله إلا غفر الله له ".
